People 'Still willing to torture'

People 'Still willing to torture'

I studied the original experiment by Milgram when I was doing my Psychology A-Level. It was my favourite case study by far, as it was the one that struck me the hardest.

It's really fucking scary to see just what people will do if they are put under social pressure.

For all those people knew, that man was DEAD.

.

Because of them.
Because they couldn't stand up and tell one measley scientist where to shove their learning experiment.

That's pretty sickening if you ask me. As if I needed more reason to distrust everyone I ever meet without the thought that they'd rather electrocute me than go against social norms.

It's like that poor guy who got trampled in Walmart in the U.S. (Yeah I'm a brit). how fucking hard would it have been to stop and offer him a hand?

Just put your hand out and help him to get back on his feet.
Or was his head that extra boost you needed to reach the mp3 player at the back of the top shelf, you sick fucks.

Hmmm, I'm ranting.

I'll try and pick a happier topic next time, I promise.

  1. they had 4 or 5 people killed on black friday like you were talking about. i think that walmart trampling was in long island. sad shit.

i'm okay. getting less sick now. still working on letting go of the girlfriend of 3 years but that's life.

the thing is: when i work out, like i used to, which was some intense exercise. 14 running miles a day. strict diet. push ups. sit ups. gym 7 days a week. i just got a ridiculous amount of muscle mass. and i've always wants to be slim. so that's where starving comes in. oh well. i'll figure something out. :P

excited about your new blog :D
